Since 1992, the employees of Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson
have given nearly $700,000 to the American Red Cross through
corporate donations, employee gifts, and the matching contributions
of those employee gifts by JMT and the Mirmiran Foundation. Our
firm is seen as a leader supporting the Red Cross's planned
programs and events and is consistently among the first to respond
to disasters and other urgent needs. We participate regularly
in blood drives and volunteer projects, and also provide guidance
by serving on the local Red Cross board of directors.
JMT was in prestigious company at the Hometown Heroes event.
This year's other corporate honorees were the Baltimore Ravens and
Under Armour, which received the Chairman's Award and Mission
Partner Award, respectively.
The Red Cross is always there when disaster strikes. Whether the
need is down the street, across the country or around the world,
the Red Cross is committed to assist. We are proud of our 100%
employee owned firm for the generosity and eagerness to support the
Red Cross in times of need, both in our own communities and
anywhere throughout the world that people require shelter, food,
clothing and other essential help.
We are appreciative of the Hometown Heroes award.
