JMT’s Board of Trustees for the Employee Stock Ownership Plan is pleased to announce the appointment of Karina Enrico-Jackson, PE as a new Director on the JMT Board of Directors.

Karina is a licensed professional engineer in Florida and has more than 17 years of construction management (CM), and construction engineering/inspection (CEI) experience on transportation infrastructure improvement projects.

She started her career at the Florida Department of Transportation as a part of the Professional Engineer Training Program. Karina joined GBF Engineering, Inc. (GBF) in August of 2004 as a Project Engineer, and played an integral role in securing some of the firm’s largest CEI contracts early on. She was promoted to Director of CEI Operations in 2010, and was appointed President of GBF in 2012.

GBF merged with JMT in 2014 and Karina continued in a leadership capacity as the JMT Fort Lauderdale Office Manager and Florida CM practice leader. Under her leadership, JMT’s Florida CM/CEI practice has earned statewide recognition for the JMT brand as a leading CM firm.

Her knowledge of the transportation CM/CEI market, her success as a small business owner, and her ability to capitalize on opportunities within a rapidly growing Florida region offer her a solid foundation of knowledge and experience that will make a positive impact on JMT’s future.
