Andrew Birmingham, Senior Vice President at JMT, launched his career in Maryland after graduating from the University of Delaware with a bachelor’s degree in Bioresources Engineering Technology and a minor in Civil Engineering. He contributed to major projects in the region, like the I-95/I-695 interchange in Baltimore and the 11th Street Bridges Design-Build in Washington, DC, while earning a master’s degree in environmental engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
Andrew has managed some of JMT’s largest, most successful water infrastructure projects, including the award-winning Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) project at Wissinoming Park as part of the Philadelphia Water Department’s (PWD) Green City, Clean Waters program and the Greendale Levee Accreditation project along the Ohio River for the Lawrenceburg Conservancy District. Andrew is a licensed professional engineer in 10 states and is a 2014 graduate of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Maryland’s Leadership Program. He was recently selected to serve as Water Sub-Committee Chair for the ACEC National Water and Environment Committee for the upcoming year.
