Tarleton State University Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

As a proud partner of the Texas A&M University System (TAMUS), JMT joined Tarleton State University (TSU) in celebrating two major milestones that reflect the institution’s continued growth and commitment to student success.

JMT participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Tarleton State University’s Health Professions Building, a cutting-edge, $80 million facility spanning 92,000 square feet. This new academic hub marks a significant milestone for the university, launching three essential healthcare programs: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Physician Assistant Studies.

The facility is equipped with advanced laboratories and public clinics, offering immersive, hands-on training opportunities for students preparing to enter high-demand healthcare professions. These new programs build upon Tarleton’s strong foundation in kinesiology, nutrition science, public health, athletic training, social work, and communication sciences and disorders. JMT’s Jaime Munoz was the on-site project manager for the project.

Building on this momentum, on September 10, TSU celebrated the groundbreaking of the Lillian Street Dormitory, a landmark $120 million, five-story residence hall designed to enhance the on-campus living experience. Once complete, this transformative project will bring nearly 1,000 new beds to the Stephenville campus and directly supports the university’s master plan to expand multi-story residential housing.

Further amplifying the impact of this initiative, negotiations for two nearby properties have been approved, aligning with Tarleton’s broader vision of creating a vibrant, residential college community. JMT is providing on-site project management services for the dormitory, with JMT’s Luis Hernandez serving as our dedicated, full-time representative. The project is scheduled for completion in fall 2027.
