Who’s Got The Best Restroom? BWI Marshall Airport Does!
It’s official! The new comfort facilities at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall (BWI Marshall) Airport have won the 2023 America’s Best Restroom contest!
For 22 years, the annual contest has honored businesses that develop restroom facilities demonstrating cleanliness, visual appeal, innovation, functionality, and unique design elements.
In a press release, Ricky Smith, Executive Director/CEO of BWI Marshall, said, “Passengers rank restrooms as an airport’s number one amenity. That’s why we work so hard to provide creative, clean and inviting restrooms to make travel more enjoyable.”
JMT provided design program management, commissioning, and construction management services for the new restrooms that opened this spring on Concourse B.
We continue to support the Maryland Aviation Administration (MAA) as the agency renovates additional facilities on Concourses B, C, and D. This work is just one example of the multi-disciplined approach we take with MAA inside its facilities and on the airfield.
BWI Marshall enters the America’s Best Restroom Hall of Fame and receives a Cintas UltraClean® restroom cleaning service and $2,500 in facility services or restroom cleaning from Cintas.
