Barr & Prevost Joins JMT
JMT and Barr & Prevost are proud to announce that JMT and the engineering design and bridge inspection divisions of Barr & Prevost are now one. The addition of Barr & Prevost’s capabilities gives JMT a solid presence in the state of Ohio while strengthening both firms’ abilities to provide quality services for clients throughout the Midwest.
Barr & Prevost is headquartered in Columbus, with offices in Cincinnati and Cleveland. The firm, founded in 1992, serves local, municipal, state, and federal government agencies. Barr & Prevost’s engineering design and bridge inspection staff specializes in roadway, bridge and trail design, traffic engineering, structural inspection, and construction management/inspection services. The firm is prequalified to perform work in Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia, as well as with the federal government.

Certain disciplines previously provided by Barr & Prevost – such as geotechnical, survey, and drilling services – are separate to the merger and will now be provided under the name Barr Engineering.
