Barry Epley, PE Inducted As ACEC/PA President
We are proud to announce that Mr. Barry Epley, PE has been inducted as President of the American Council of Engineering Companies/Pennsylvania (ACEC/PA) for the 2014-2015 term. Mr. Epley has been an active member of ACEC/PA for more than 20 years and has served the executive committee in various leadership positions for the past five years.
ACEC/PA is dedicated exclusively to the promotion and enhancement of the business interests of the Commonwealth’s consulting engineering industry. Comprised of more than 125 member firms, ACEC/PA represents thousands of employees, including engineers, architects, land surveyors, scientists, and other specialists. For the next year, Mr. Epley will lead ACEC/PA in representing the business interests of the engineering profession in Pennsylvania.
As a senior vice president and Pennsylvania regional manager for JMT, Mr. Epley brings to the position 32 years of experience in civil engineering for the state’s infrastructure. He has provided leadership and quality assurance for numerous projects on behalf of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission.
Mr. Epley holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University and is a registered professional engineer in Pennsylvania and several other states. He also serves on the board for the Associated Pennsylvania Contractors and participates in organizations such as the Association of Bridge Construction & Design and the American Society of Highway Engineers.
