Elkton Road Improvements Recognized as MASITE Project of the Year

The Mid-Atlantic Section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (MASITE) recently awarded JMT with the 2013 Project of the Year Award for the DelDOT Elkton Road improvements project.

JMT provided DelDOT with a planning and operations study of the four-lane highway in Newark, Del., to identify capacity, operational, safety and multi-modal deficiencies, and develop solutions to these issues. JMT also provided final design services for a 1.1-mile-long section of the Elkton Road corridor.

MASITE is one of more than 80 local and regional chapters of the Institute of Transportation Engineers, and it covers the Delaware, Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and West Virginia regions.
