JMT received honors at the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) Baltimore Chapter’s annual Project Achievement Awards Banquet.  Our construction management work at Greenbelt Middle School in Prince George’s County, Maryland, won in the Project with Constructed Value Less than $50 Million category.  The judges determined that our services “… demonstrated excellence in the construction management field, promoted professionalism, and helped to foster a successful project.”

The new, two-story Greenbelt Middle School is LEED® Gold certified and includes a media center, multiple interactive computer labs, a television production studio, band and choir rooms, science labs, and classrooms for technology, art, special education, and family and consumer science.  JMT’s field-based Construction Manager provided full time support to Prince George’s County Public Schools and managed the construction, commissioning and occupancy phases of the project.

The Construction Management Association of America is North America’s only organization dedicated exclusively to the interests of professional construction and program management.  The Mission of CMAA is to promote the profession of construction management and the use of qualified construction managers on capital projects and programs.
