Jack Moeller Recognized as Newest ACEC/MD Fellow
We are proud to announce that John (Jack) A. Moeller, PE, President of Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, has recently been appointed a Fellow of the American Council of Engineering Companies/Maryland (ACEC/MD).
ACEC/MD recognizes individuals who have been principals of a member firm for not less than five years at the time of their election and have notably contributed to the advancement of consulting engineering in administrative leadership, design, science, by literature, in education, or by service to the profession.
With almost 40 years of civil engineering experience, Jack has been responsible for planning, program management, engineering design, and construction of numerous transportation infrastructure projects. He has managed more than $3 billion of construction projects throughout his career.
Prior to joining JMT in 1995, Jack held increasingly responsible positions within the Maryland State Highway Administration and then the Maryland Transportation Authority (MdTA), where he held the position of Director of Engineering. During his tenure with MdTA, he received citations from the Governor, the Maryland Senate, MdTA, the Motor Vehicle Administrator, and the Secretary of Transportation.
He previously served ACEC/MD in all the officer positions and as ACEC National Director.
