JMT recently attended the ribbon cutting ceremony officially opening the Mercer Meadows segment of the Lawrence Hopewell Trail (LHT). The LHT is a more-than-22-mile bicycle and pedestrian trail and transportation corridor through public and private land in Lawrence and Hopewell Townships in Mercer County, NJ.

JMT has represented the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) as project managers on trail projects throughout the Delaware Valley. We also managed the recently completed Lewisville Road segment of the LHT and are currently managing the Carter Road segment. The Carter Road segment will be part of a public park in Mercer County that was formerly a corporate campus in the 1950s.

The ribbon cutting was attended by Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes, Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman, State Senator Shirley Turner, Mercer County Freeholder Pasquale “Pat” Colavita, Jr., Eleanor Horne and Rebecca Taylor, co-presidents of the LHT, and many others.

JMT is proud to be part of this worthy effort on behalf of the DVRPC and the William Penn Foundation in support of bicycle and pedestrian trails in the Delaware Valley.
