The spring 2016 issue of the American Society of Highway Engineers’ (ASHE) quarterly publication, ASHE Scanner, features an article written by Caroline Duffy, section head for JMT’s traffic group in Cincinnati. Titled “A Safer, More Prosperous Main Street: The Wooster Pike Revitalization,” the two-page article describes how JMT (then Barr & Prevost) helped the Village of Fairfax, OH over several years to plan and design improvements that have transformed the community.

Our staff’s efforts resulted in a more livable, walkable community, with lower traffic speeds through the central business district and new traffic patterns in the residential district. The project has won awards and honors from Ohio Department of Transportation, ASHE Great Lakes Region, and the Mid America Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials.
