We are proud to announce that Mr. Jack Moeller, PE, has been inducted as President of the American Council of Engineering Companies/Maryland (ACEC/MD) for the 2013-2014 term. Mr. Moeller has been an active member of ACEC/MD for 18 years and has served the executive committee in various leadership positions for the past six years.

ACEC/MD has been the voice of the consulting engineering community in Maryland for more than 50 years. Comprised of over 80 member firms ranging in size from single registered professional engineers to large corporations, ACEC/MD represents more than 6,000 Maryland employees including engineers, architects, land surveyors, scientists and other specialists. For the next year, Mr. Moeller will lead ACEC/MD in representing the business interests of the engineering profession in Maryland.

As the current President and COO of Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Mr. Moeller brings to the position 37 years of experience in civil engineering including planning, program management, engineering design, and construction of transportation infrastructure projects. He has managed more than $3 billion of construction projects throughout his career including multiple mega transportation contracts such as the I-95/I-695 Express Toll Project and the I-95/I-295/I-495 Interchange at the Woodrow Wilson Bridge.

Mr. Moeller received a BS and MS in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland and is a registered professional engineer in the states of Maryland and North Carolina.
