On January 14, JMT staff graciously accepted the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS) Central Pennsylvania Chapter’s Rosa Parks Diversity Leadership Award. This accolade, presented during the chapter’s annual awards luncheon, honors an individual, group, or organization that has made significant contributions in promoting diversity and cultural awareness.

WTS is dedicated to the advancement of women in the transportation industry. The international organization provides its 5,000 members with professional programs, networking opportunities, and access to industry and government leaders.

Advancing women and minorities in transportation is key to transforming the transportation industry, and WTS as well as other minority organizations can shape future generations of transportation leaders. Several York office employees are involved with the Central PA chapter, including Crystalann Deardorff and Christina Kossis, who currently serve as chapter vice
president and treasurer, respectively. JMT’s continuing commitments to excellence, diversity and quality are demonstrated by our employees each day.

Congratulations to the JMT members of the WTS Central PA chapter, and to all, for this honor.
