JMT and Kennedy Consulting Inc. (KCI) announced today that an agreement has been reached for the acquisition of KCI by JMT.  The combination of the firms strengthens JMT’s commitment in Texas for highway planning, design and construction engineering services while providing multi-disciplined engineering/architecture support to KCI’s existing clients.

KCI, founded in 1998, is highly-regarded across Texas as a transportation leader providing superior client service from planning through final design.  The firm emphasizes teamwork, engineering excellence, and innovation on projects of every type, from complex, multi-level interchanges to more simple intersection modifications. KCI serves the Texas Department of Transportation, toll authorities, municipalities and counties statewide from its offices in McKinney and Georgetown, TX.

Kevin Kennedy, PE, KCI President, said regarding the agreement: “We pride ourselves on being the best and JMT mirrors those core values of quality and client service. This union enables KCI to raise the bar even higher while expanding our footprint; we are excited to be able to do more for both our employees and our clients.”

JMT President John A. Moeller, PE, said:  “JMT and KCI both have very dedicated employees and strong records of quality work. We are excited for the opportunity to now share our resources and expand our infrastructure consulting services in Texas.”
