Projects Recognized at MAASTO Awards

At the recent 2015 Mid America Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (MAASTO) awards – the regional awards in the America’s Transportation Awards Competition – the Ohio Department of Transportation received three awards, two of which were projects by Barr & Prevost, a JMT Division:
- Wooster Pike Revitalization won in the “Quality of Life/Community Development” category.
- I-71 Widening – The Golden Spike won in the “Under Budget” category.
The America’s Transportation Awards Competition – co-sponsored by AASHTO, AAA, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce – recognizes the top transportation projects in various U.S. regions. The 10 regional winners with the highest overall scores will go on to the national competition. The top two national winners will be announced in September at the AASHTO Annual Meeting in Chicago.
