Maryland State Highway Administration’s (SHA) Mobility & Economy Dashboard has been announced as one of the winners of a competition sponsored by the Transportation Research Board’s (TRB) Special Task Force on Data for Decisions and Performance Measures. This project, developed by the JMT Technology Group and a team of consultant partners, was featured at the TRB 94th Annual Meeting in Washington, DC.

The Mobility & Economy Dashboard is a public-facing web application that presents key performance metrics through an intuitive interface, giving users an opportunity to interact with charts and maps to get key information about mobility in the state of Maryland. This first-of-its-kind application is helping SHA make real-time, data-driven decisions each day and provides public visibility to SHA’s projects, programs, and policies.

The TRB Annual Meeting covers all modes of transportation, with presentations and workshops geared toward policy makers, administrators, practitioners, researchers, and representatives of government, industry, and academic institutions. TRB’s mission is to provide leadership in transportation innovation and progress through research and information exchange.
