JMT and Tidewater Environmental Services, Inc. (Tidewater) of Charleston, SC are proud to announce the merger of the two firms. The addition of Tidewater expands JMT’s presence in South Carolina and strengthens the commitment of a 1,200 person firm to provide quality environmental services for our clients throughout the Carolinas, Georgia, and beyond.

Founded in 2004, Tidewater is regarded in the environmental services industry as one of the leading natural resource consulting firms in South Carolina. The company has built an outstanding reputation for providing quality and responsiveness that have been integral in the execution of successful public and private projects throughout the Southeastern United States.

“We are excited about this opportunity to join JMT,” said Ross Nelson, Tidewater President. “This was a natural fit for us since we have worked with their staff on a variety of projects for many years. Joining JMT will allow us to offer additional services to our clients and expand our ability to deliver quality environmental and engineering services in the Southeast.”

“Tidewater significantly enhances JMT’s growing Natural and Cultural Resources practice,” said Jack Moeller, JMT President. “In addition, we have recently made a number of key hires across our footprint that will dovetail nicely with the expertise brought by the Tidewater merger.”
