JMT (formerly Spectra Environmental Group) provided preliminary and final design services for the replacement of Pony Farm Road Bridge with a 42-foot-span over the Canadian Pacific Railroad. The existing three-span structure, built in 1933, had been closed to traffic.

JMT designed a new structure consisting of a single precast concrete arch bridge, concrete precast, and cast-in-place retaining walls, all of which were designed to provide the required clearance for current and future rail traffic. Our team also designed improvements to the vertical and horizontal alignments within the constraints of the existing infrastructure.
