Underwater Inspection for Six Mile Run Culvert

JMT performed the underwater inspection of the Six Mile Run Culvert, along the Delaware and Raritan Canal in Franklin Township, NJ. Our three-person dive team conducted the inspection to evaluate the condition of all three interior barrels, identify and locate deterioration, and make recommendations for repairs. In addition, JMT performed the structural design, preparation of remediation plans and specifications, quantities, cost estimates, and underwater construction of large spalls throughout all three interior barrels. The construction work included debris removal, cleaning defects with an industrial high-pressure water jet, and installation of timber framework for encasement.
